From May through October, the Baltimore Region sometimes suffers from dangerously high levels of air-borne pollutants. When levels are high enough to affect your health, you need to take steps to protect yourself and your loved ones.
Check the current air quality at http://mdeozone.info/cgi-bin/stateozone.cgi. Remember that during Code Red Air Quality it is unhealthful for even healthy adults to exert themselves outside. Codes Orange and Yellow can be dangerous for the young, elderly and anyone with asthma or other resparatory ailments.
